Like everyone knows, the genuine Father Xmas lives and has always lived far away in the town of Korvatunturi, Lapland, Finland. His home, secret workshop, the present shop and lots of other buildings are all there. The peculiar thing is that no one knows how to get to Korvatunturi apart from Father Xmas himself, his elves and naturally his devoted reindeer. Many people say that Korvatunturi can be spotted at 483 meters high on an ordanance survey map. (more…)

Adopting a child into the family is a huge step that changes many lives, most especially the child being adopted. Older children need to learn how to fit into their new family. The child may feel like an intruder, may lack self-confidence, and feel isolated despite being surrounded by a welcoming family.

The child needs to hear from a trusted friend that everything will be all right.
