Like everyone knows, the genuine Father Xmas lives and has always lived far away in the town of Korvatunturi, Lapland, Finland. His home, secret workshop, the present shop and lots of other buildings are all there. The peculiar thing is that no one knows how to get to Korvatunturi apart from Father Xmas himself, his elves and naturally his devoted reindeer. Many people say that Korvatunturi can be spotted at 483 meters high on an ordanance survey map.
The Role of The Elves
Korvatunturi is a confusing place where the elves can hear the kids and adults to ascertain whether or not they are good. The elves hear all of the folks and write their findings in the large scrolls of paper. Generally, they note only positive comments but occassionally they note down fits, grumbling and bad behavior, which from time to time can incidentally occur.
Particularly before Xmas , the elves have been seen to travel to houses and in areas near youngsters to make closer observations on the kids’s behavior and their kindness. Just before Xmas, Santa inspects all of the comments in the notebooks and fastidiously selects gifts for all kind and good youngsters. In case there’s a note of cheekiness, Santa Claus could also show his disapproval. Luckily, in recent times, there were less such situations because everybody has been so good.
The Home of Santa
Do you know that in Finland, the home country of Santa, he personally delivers all of the gifts to the kind children? When he arrives in the house, he mostly asks the question : “Ho, Ho, Ho, are there any kind youngsters here?”. Kids are sometimes singing a short song to Santa and also guarantee to be excellent next year too. Then Santa, with the help of the youngsters to read labels, gives the gifts to the kids and infrequently to their oldsters too.
